As the holiday season winds down and the new year begins, I wanted to take a moment to recognize where we've come over the last year and highlight some of the fortunate opportunities 2018 brought the employees and partners of Engaged Prospect
In 2018, we were able to add 14 new clients to our organization. The trust and responsibility given to us by our partners is truly awesome. As the front-line sales effort for companies all over the country and in a variety of industries, we take our job seriously to help our clients turn their growth goals into reality.
"Thank you" to all of the talented business leaders who have trusted us with their companies. We appreciate the support, guidance, training and hard work you've given us to help drive new customers to your organization. We look forward to an even better 2019.
Our staff grew by more than 3 times over the past year. Our team is doing a great job helping onboard new employees, and their focus on cross-training and role playing has led to increased production across the board. A few promotions have occurred over the past year, showcasing the great opportunity at EP as growth continues.
This staffing increase has also led to our acquisition of additional office space. We have now become one of our building's largest tenants. Pictures to come shortly after the new year!
Our marketing department is growing. What was a brand new (one person) role in December 2017 grew to a small team of two excellent marketers. We're about 3 weeks from bringing on our third marketing professional, and our focus will be to continue to build our creative capabilities for our clients. As we continue to grow this department, our services should provide great opportunities to help increase brand awareness and customer conversions for our partners.
Besides growth, another key 2018 goal was to get to the place to provide health insurance and other employment benefits to our employees. On January 1, 2019, health insurance will begin for our employees and their families. A key achievement for all of us after months of research and consideration.
Our Training and Our Technology:
Several other key investments have been made to help make 2019 a bigger success for EP and for all of our clients.
We've continued our serious investment in Peak Performance Management, an award winning Pittsburgh based sales training company. Our work with the organization in the 2nd half of 2018 led to faster onboarding, improved sales results across the board, and an easier way for all of our staff to cross-train and help each other improve on a daily basis.
We are scaling this project in 2019 and we are investing even more heavily in our teams and their partners. We also hope to find the best way to help our partners grow in their sales journeys. We've discussed adding our clients to our training program and finding ways to include them in the educational process we're adding for our internal team.
We're also investing heavily in our technology resources. We've decided to add several key sales acceleration solutions to our tech stack, which will help increase customer acquisition for our clients, and also make our ramp-up times more effective.
We expect our key investments in 2018 to pay off significantly in 2019 for our clients!
Happy New Year!
